MEDIA INTERAKTIF MENGENAL ALAT MUSIK TRADISIONAL JAWA UNTUK ANAK KELAS 4 SD NEGERI JERON

Technological advancements in the era of globalization have significantly impacted the field of education, while also posing challenges to the preservation of local culture, including traditional musical instruments. The declining interest among elementary school students in traditional instruments, along with the limited availability of effective learning media in schools, hinders the introduction of cultural heritage from an early age. Based on observations at SD Negeri Jeron, it was found that music learning processes remain less interactive and are not supported by adequate media. This study aims to develop an interactive learning media to help teachers introduce traditional musical instruments to elementary school students in an engaging and comprehensible manner. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), applying the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed media is digital-based and designed to present images, sounds, and interactive information about traditional musical instruments. The results show that this media effectively increases students’ interest and understanding of traditional musical instruments while supporting a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience. Therefore, the interactive learning media can serve as an innovative solution in preserving culture through basic education.
